Lilian has been a paralegal in the intellectual property practice for over 10 years, providing assistance to partners and associates at law firms, as well as managing patent prosecution procedures in a giant multinational company.
Prior to joining Bayes, Lilian has worked in the Intellectual Property Department of Huawei as an in-house paralegal for nearly 8 years. Her job responsibilities cover all scopes of overseas patent application and prosecution (including US, EP, JP, KR, IN, CA, etc.), ranging from application submission, handling of official correspondence and counsel letters, and accelerated examination, to government fee reduction, and invoice review and payment matters. Lilian excels in communicating with patent offices, patent engineers, and lawyers to resolve related legal and procedural issues in patent applications, and adjusting and improving internal procedures based on changes in law and newly identified problems. Lilian also has extensive experience in the entire patent application process, from new patent application filings to the issuance of patents.
