Practice

Ray focuses on global IP procurement and landscape, with rich and unique experience in prosecuting patents in different countries and regions. She is skilled in patent law and practice of China, U.S., Europe, and Japan, and has drafted and prosecuted more than one thousand patents globally for various clients in the past. She has extensive expertise in a wide range of technical areas, including semiconductor, IC circuit, computer software, display technology, and wireless communication. Ray is well versed at utility patents and design patents, and particularly experienced in global landscape of design patents.

Prior to Bayes PLLC, Ray has worked for Hanhow IP Law Firm in Beijing, Zhongyi Patent and Trademark Law firm, Purplevine IP Group, and Anker Innovation Technology Co. Ltd. in Shenzhen. As an in-house counsel, Ray has successfully managed several US intellectual property (IP) disputes, including IP litigation initiated in district courts and IP infringement complaints filed by competitors on e-commerce platforms. A career both in private practice and as an in-house counsel of multinational corporation endows her with a unique perspective about IP practice, which allows her to bring tailor-made IP strategies to clients across a wide range of industries and technology fields. Ray is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and fluent in English.
